Mumbai Mirror reported that Satish Kumar Singh and Premlata Singh, parents of Alkem Laboratories founder Sandeep Singh, bought a penthouse at S Raheja’s Evergreen on Perry Road, Bandra West. Ram Raheja, managing director of S Raheja, confirmed the price at ₹62.81 crore.
The home is about 4,583 sq ft of carpet, registered on 15 December, at roughly ₹1.37 lakh per sq ft. The paper described private terraces, a double-height living room, and a raw unit with the occupancy certificate in hand. Stamp duty was ₹3.76 crore and the registration fee ₹30,000. Evergreen is a redevelopment: lower floors return to society members, and the upper floors were sold in the open market. The residence sits about 900 metres from the shore, with an angled sea view rather than a sea-facing frontage. Mirror called it the costliest non-sea-facing apartment recorded in Bandra.
